Linda (Hall) Little, April 2016:

"I am not 100% sure of Augustus Hall's parentage. In 1855 he and Isaac Hall were living with Isaac's sister Sophia (Hall) Barney. Sophia died but Augustus was still with her widower Horatio Barney in 1865, 1870 and 1880.

"In 1865 Isaac was an inmate at an Almshouse, Isaac died in 1869.

"Augustus is not found after 1880. He likely died in RI.

"The most likely candidate for his father seems to be Isaac, but no record of Isaac's marriage, Augustus' birth or death have been found. In 1880 at the age of 56 he was single and had epilepsy. It seems as though he had no children."
