Albina and his wife Livia, had no children. He received a good education, was a student in the Medical Department of Dartmouth College and prepared the herbarium which was used in the college for many years. He was the best botanist in college. He graduated from the Berkshire Medical Institute, 1823, and practiced his profession successfully in Landoff, NH, Hancock, ME, Fredonia, NY, Newport, NH and in Wisconson. He represented Croydon, NH in the legislature in 1868 and 1869, was the candidate for state senate in 1871, and had been Justice of the Peace for many years.

"Albina Hall and Lyman Hall, sons of James Hall, after spending most of their minority in town, turned their attention to medicine. THe former married Livia Powers, and after practicing awhile in Maine and new York has returned to Croydon. The latter followed his profession at Cornish Flat until his death, which occurred but a few years since."
