    Notes:

    From FindaGrave:

Isaac Bolster was born April 28, 1732 in Uxbridge, Massachusetts to Isaac Bolster, Sr. and his second wife Hepsibah Waite Bolster.

Described as "able-bodied and full of military spirit", he served as a private during the French and Indian War at various times between 1755 and 1761. This military experience allowed him to enter the Revolutionary War as a lieutenant and within a month he was promoted to captain. Isaac was a Minuteman who responded to the Lexington Alarm at the onset of the War, April 19, 1775. He served until the end of 1776 under Col. Ebenezer Learned.

On July 24, 1761 Isaac married Mary Dwinnel in Sutton, Massachusetts and 11 children were born to the couple. 1775 proved to be an especially difficult year for the family as not only was Isaac involved with the War, but also four of their then seven children died within two days in August!

In 1784, the family relocated to Paris, Maine where Isaac owned a farm, was appointed to several public committees and was described as a "gentleman". He and Mary remained in Paris until their deaths.

Interestingly, Isaac has two markers honoring his memory -- see his cenotaph in Millbury, Massachusetts.
