71275 Many genealogies document the parents of Henry as being Edmund Cooke and Elizabeth Nichols. Research can demonstrate that this is not true.

Edmund and Elizabeth were married in 1562. They had many children, including a Henry who was baptized at North Cray, Kent, in the 1570s. Family pedigrees from the 1619 visitation show that the only surviving sons were Lambert and George.

Additional research in England will be required to discover his true ancestry.
