Until her death, Joanne lived at University Village Retirement Community with Warren Hall, her spouse of 71 years. Joanne was born to Ivan and Dorthy Allum in Toledo, Ohio on April 30, 1928. Two sisters, Bonnie and Marilyn, arrived to complete the family. Since Joanne's parents owned a country grocery store, she has long enjoyed telling an array of stories about working in the store as a teenager. One of her favorites was how her mother had instructed her not to eat more than one cone per day from the ice cream counter. Joanne delighted in describing how she scooped several times per day but only used one cone so as not to disobey her mother's instructions. The Allum family moved to Arizona in 1946 where Joanne married Warren Hall who was serving in the U.S. Navy. Ruth, Raymond, Janet and Evan soon called her "Mom." Later, she became "Grandma" and "Great Grandma" numerous times over. The placard mounted on her walker at University Village read "artist and writer." Joanne began painting and sculpting in the 1960's. Recently, she wrote poetry and a story of her life called "The Journey: Meeting Extraordinary Challenges." Joanne's burial took place at Calvary Cemetery with arrangements provided by the Fitzgerald Funeral Home. Memorial services to be at University Village's Stovall Theater, Tulsa, on November 11, 2017 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 918-291-3500 To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Joanne Hall please visit our Sympathy Store. | Allum, Joanne Ruth (I22499)

| 69489 | https://www.fitzgeraldfuneralservice.com/obituaries/Warren-Hall-9/#!/Obituary Warren Stow Hall Warren Stow Hall passed away during the early morning hours of November 10, 2021. Warren was born to Warren Payne Stow Hall and Carry (Stockdale) Hall on Ground Hog's Day, 1926. Not to be outdone, his brother, Raymond, was born on Halloween a few years later. Warren enlisted in the United States Navy in 1943 and was an Aviation Cadet taking pilot training as WWII ended. Subsequently, he attended Michigan State University and received a Bachelors Degree in chemical engineering. Warren married Joanne Ruth Allum in 1946 and they remained together for 71 years. Warren and Joanne met at a high school football game in Toledo, Ohio. The legend goes that a streaming roll of toilet tissue landed on Joanne so Warren went to apologize for his lousy aim with the story that he was trying for the goal posts. Soon after their marriage, they began to grow their family. Ruth, Raymond, Janet and Evan were to call him Dad. Later he became Grandpa to Tracy and David Davidson; and Scott, Matthew, Jeremy and Michael Hall. Warren worked for Phillips Petroleum in a variety of managerial roles until he took early retirement about 1980. He then focused his attention on stock market investments. Joanne passed away in 2017. Warren was always sociable and his signature greeting was "Give me four and a half!" which owed to having lost half of a finger on his right hand to a busy lawnmower blade. He played golf for over fifty years "claiming" several hole-in-ones. He sang baritone in a barbershop quartet and became an accomplished amateur photographer. Graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 1:00pm. Presiding will be The Reverend Keith Fallis of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Sapulpa. Arrangements provided by Fitzgerald's Funeral Home of Tulsa. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Warren Stow Hall please visit our Sympathy Store. Hall, Warren, 95, Phillips Petroleum manager and Navy veteran, died Wednesday, Nov. 10. Graveside service 1 p.m. Monday, Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa. | 69490 | https://www.gilmanandvalade.com/obituaries/James-Bump?obId=27454165 James Bump November 9, 2017 1945 - 2017 Putnam, CT - Jim was born in Springfield, MA, son of C. Kilbourne and Gertrude (Lapham) Bump. He went to Williston Academy after attending Minnechaug High School. At Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA, class of 1969, he majored in piano, after realizing that he could read music faster than text. There he began to build instruments, laying the foundation for several years of lute building and about 19 years at Old Sturbridge Village. At OSV, he demonstrated crafts and built replicas of furniture and tools, from plows to looms to a printing press, so that historical techniques could be shown without damaging the original antiques. In the 1990's, Jim worked as a church organist and accompanist to students, soloists and choruses. Trying a week of classes at Summer Keys, Lubec, ME, he was taken on as piano accompanist for adult amateur musicians. He fell in love with Lubec, and bought a 5 bedroom house, where he rented rooms to music students, making friends from around the world. After 10 years, he resigned from accompaniment and concentrated on hosting string quartets, in which he was always the viola. In 2012, Jim helped to start the Northeast Connecticut Community Orchestra, which continues to meet in Ashford, CT and perform in several nearby towns. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the N.E.C.C. Orchestra, Saul Ahola, treasurer, 88 Butts Rd., Woodstock, CT 06281. Jim is survived by his brother Ben and sister-in-law Ellen Bump, cousins, and longtime companion Rachel Lewis and her family. They are planning a gathering with music and memorabilia, to be announced later. Funeral arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to the Gilman Funeral Home Crematory, 104 Church St., Putnam, CT.
