    Erede Crowell Hall came from Hawley, MA to Cicero Center, NY with her husband, Seth Hall 1784-1837 around the year 1815.

    The Hall lines extended to Stephen Hopkins of the Mayflower as well as to several Pilgrams, including Thomas Howes, Rev. John Lathrop and Rev. John Mayo.

    "Hall Island in the Swamp" was named for this family (Syracuse Post Standard, July 31, 1941).

    Erede was the great grandmother of Joseph Harvey Schaefer (b.8/18/1885), the Syracuse historian, who wrote "The Cicero Crowells" Part I and II, 1942 (Onondaga County Public Library).
