Terrance Chad Hall, 49, died Sunday, February 21, 1993 in the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City.
He was born July 7, 1943, in Salt Lake City, a son of Nelson W. and M. Marjorie Lawley Hall.He married Teri Johnstun on August 20, 1988 in Ogden. He had lived in Ogden for 13 years and graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. degree. He attended CAL State Fullerton, UCLA, and Weber State University working on his Masters.
He had worked as a teacher-coach at Central Middle School and Ogden High School for the Ogden City School District. He also had worked at KALL Radio. He was nominated for Teacher Of The Year 1988-89 and was member of the A.A.
He had been a jet fighter pilot in the U.S. Marine Corp. with the rank of Captain, serving in Vietnam. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross and other awards. He had been shot down three times. After the war he had worked as a test pilot. He was a volunteer in the drug and alcohol abuse program with many youth groups. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, boater and skier.
Surviving are his wife, Ogden; one son, Bryant T. Hall, Ogden; and other loving family members; also surviving is his father, Salt Lake City; two brothers and one sister, Lynn Hall, San Francisco, Calif.; Randy Hall and Margie Burt, both of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Larkin and Sons Mortuary where friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 9-9:45 a.m. Interment in the Utah Veterans Memorial State Park, Riverton, Utah with military honors accorded.
