(The large memorial monument indicates he was the son of Knyvet Sears, but that has long been debunked, even though the memorial stone for him lives on!.... there was no such person as Knyvet Sears; in fact it was disproved in NEHGR Volume 40 in 1886, addressing the existence of Knyvet Sears mentioned in the 1857 Sears Genealogy!)
