    Join Funeral Slated for Four Air Victims

    BOUNTIFUL -- Funeral services for Galbraith Allen Browning, his sons, Evan Allen Browning, Lyle Robert Browning, and nephew Robert Clifton Browning, who were killed Saturday when the plane they were riding in struck a mointain in Tooele County, will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bountiful Stake Center, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3599 S. Orchard Dr.

    The bodies of the four victims were brought out of the high mountain area by helicopter late Sunday and early Monday after searchers found them late Sunday.

    Galbraith A. Browning

    Galbraith Allen Browning, 58, 633 W. 3500 South, Bountiful, was born May 30, 1916, in Rigby, Idaho, a son of George Andrew and Christine Bodily Galbraith Browning. He married Margaret Jayne Isaacson Jan. 10, 1939, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

    Owned Freight Line

    Mr. Browning was owner and a vice president of Browning Freight Lines, Inc. and also owned Browning Motor in St. Anthony, Idaho. He grew up in St. Anthony and had lived in Bountiful for the past 13 years. He was a member of the Bountiful and Twin Falls Kiwanis clubs.

    He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Gary (Terrece) Moss, Twin Falls; Mrs. David (Barbara) Butler, Centerville; Miss Cheryl Browning, Bountiful; five grandchildren; four brothers, Ben D., Portland, Ore.; Clifton M., Bountiful; George A., Portland, Ore.; Lowell D., Boise, and his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. George A, Browning, Salt Lake City.

    Evan A. Browning

    Even Allen Browning, 34, 720 W. 1100 South, Woods Cross, was born April 5, 1940, in St. Anthonoy, Idaho, a son of Galbraith A. and Margaret Jayne Isaacson Browning. He married Josie Koulis on Aug. 24, 1968, in Salt Lake City.

    Evan Browning was a vice president and director of Browning Freight Lines, Inc. and former chairman of the Utah Safety Council. He grew up in Twin Falls and graduated from Twin Falls High School. He was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa.

    He is survived by his wife, Woods Cross; a son and a daughter, Evan Andrew, Michelle, both Woods Cross; his mother, Bountiful; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Browning, Salt Lake City; and three sisters, Mrs. Gary (Terrece) Moss, Twin Falls; Mrs. David (Barbara) Butler, Centerville; and Miss Cheryl Browning, Bountiful.

    Lyle R. Browning

    Lyle Robert Browning, 29, Idaho Falls, Idaho, was born Sept. 18, 1945, in Salt Lake City, to Galbraith A. and Margaret Jayne Isaacson Browning.

    He was a vice president and director of Browning Freight Lines, Inc. and a Vietnam veteran. He grew up in Twin Falls and graduated from Bountiful High School. He attended the University of Utah and Weber State College.

    He is survived by his mother, Bountiful; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Browning, Salt Lake City; and three sisters, Mrs. Gary (Terrece) Moss, Twin Falls; Mrs. David (Barbara) Butler, Centerville; and Miss Cheryl Browning, Bountiful.

    Robert C. Browning

    Robert Clifton Browning, 24, 635 S. 750 East, Bountiful, was born Oct. 24, 1950, in Salt Lake City, a son of Clifton M. and Helen Harding Browning.

    He was a vice president and part owner of Browning Freight Lines, Inc. and managed the Salt Lake terminal of the line. He was a graduate of Bountiful High School and served in the Utah Army National Guard.

    He is survived by his parents, Bountiful; grandparents, Cleon A, Harding, Salt Lake City; three brothers, George A. Browning, Salt Lake City; three brothers and a sister, Randall N., Boise; Bradley S., Brian C., and Mrs. Michael (Carolynn) Christensen, all of Bountiful.

    Viewing Today

    Viewinf for Robert Clifton Browning will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 East, Bountiful.

    Families of Evan, Galbraith and Lyle Browning will meet friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Bountiful LDS Stake Center.

    Burial will be in the Bountiful Memorial Park.
