Philena was the first wife of Palmer Hall. At her death occurred this entry in the Evangelical Magazine and Gospel Advocate, in part, "a kind mother, dutiful wife, and faithful friend."

Philena married Palmer Hall before 1835. Palmer (son of Newell Hall and Sophia Stockwell) was born in 1810; died on 9 Apr 1881; was buried after 9 Apr 1881 in Morrisville Rural Cemetery, Morrisville, Madison County, New York. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
