    Harvey Spear Hall is the son of Capt Timothy Hall & Mary Burgess.

    He married Jane Shaw Roberts on 10 Mar 1858, Vinalhaven. She was b 31 July 1838, Vinalhaven, the d/o Thaddeus Carver Roberts & Susanna Lane. She d 17 July 1900, Vinalhaven.

    Harvey & Jane had 6 children:

    2) Austinia W Hall: 4 Apr 1864, Northport - 4 Nov 1921, Vinalhaven
    3) Eugene Mills Hall: 10 Dec 1866, Rockland - 1948

    5) Harvey S Hall: 24 Sept 1877, Vinalhaven

    In 1870, Harvey ran a meat market. In Rockland, he kept a general store at the Brook. "He later went to work for a steamship company and took his family back to Vinalhaven. He was a purser on a steam boat for 30 years." Robert Hall, "Descendants of George Hall."

    Death Record: Harvey S Hall died on 20 March 1910 on Vinalhaven at the age of 76 years 8 months 20 days. Born in Rockland, he was the son of Timothy Hall (born Matinicus Isle, Me, master mariner) & Mary Burgess (born Vinalhaven). He was a widowed farmer.
