    Israel was born on a Saturday or Sunday June 08,1652/53. Israel Sr. was the wealthiest man in Eastham,Mass, on his death. His funeral was will known in both the New Courant and the Boston News Letter. His name was on the Freeman list. The Will of Israel Cole Sr. of Barnstable was dated January 20,1723/4.Mentioned son Isreal Jr. executor and his four grandchildren were, Isreal, Theodor, Iacobod and Samuel Higgins. The children in Isreal Sr. will was his daughters Hannah's children. Her husband was Samuel Higgins Sr. His will proved July 23, 1724 and inventory listed his worth at 10,000 pounds. Israel was a trader in Barnstable. Israel Cole was born on Wednesday January 8, 1652/53, He died on January 21, 1723/24. He was 71 years, 13 days old.
