    GEORGE HOPKINS

    REEDLEY (Fresno Co.), Sept. 30, George Hopkins, 77, a native of Illinois and a resident of Reedley for the last 51 years, died Friday in a Fresno hospital following a long illness.

    Hopkins, a retired farmer and businessman, leaves no known relatives. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock in teh Cairns Chapel, with Rev. A. L. Walters officiating. Burial will be in the Redley Cemetery.

    May Alice Bell Passes in Reno

    Mrs. May Alice Bell, 77, a resident of the Reno-Sparks area since 1927, died Monday morning in a local hospital.

    She was a native of Peoria, Ill., and moved to western Nevada in 1927. Two years ago she moved to Sparks where she had lived since.

    Survivors include a son, Don Bell of Sparks and a sisterm Miss Nida Hopkins, Peoria, Ill.

    Funeral arrangements will be announced by Ross-Burke co.
