Mabel was the daughter of Othnial Stillings and Martha Hilliard.

She never married.

In the 1900 census she was the housekeeper for widower Willie Hall. She lived there with his mother and his three young children from his marriage.

In Jul 1908 in Stewartstown she had a daughter, Wiletta Hall, whose father was Willie Hall. The birth certificate for Wiletta was not stamped "illegitimate" although they weren't married. It also stated that Wiletta was Mabel's 2nd child. I finally found a birth certificate for a son born to Mabel Stillings on Feb 28, 1899 in Stewartstown. He was stillborn; no father was listed.

By 1910 (if not in 1908) she moved to her brother Byron Stillings household where she lived the rest of her life. Byron lived next door to Willie Hall. Wiletta was with them in the 1910 census as Wiletta Hall. From 1920 thru 1940 Wiletta as always listed as Wiletta Stillings (even in 1940 when she was a Nurse in the Coos County Institution in Stewartstown. When Wiletta married in 1941 she used the name Wiletta Hall.

Wiletta was the daughter of Willie Hall & Mabel Stillings.

Her parents were never married. In 1900 Mabel was a servant in the house of widower Willie Hall. In 1910 Mabel and Wiletta were living with her brother, Byron Stillings. Wiletta was listed as Wiletta Hall. In 1920 and 1930 they still lived with Byron but Wiletta was using the name Wiletta Stillings. In 1940 she was a Nurse in the Coos County Institution in Stewartstown and was using the name Wiletta Stillings. But when she married in 1941 and then on she used her birth name Wiletta Hall.

On Nov 6, 1941 in Nashua, NH she married Henry W. Leavitt, son of Claude Leavitt and Stella Lord, and widower of Marion R. Covell.

Her husband, Henry, died in 1952 (probably in Colebrook, NH).

They had a daughter, Martha.

On Jul 6, 1957 in Colebrook, NH she married Irvin Myron Lurvey, son of Myron Ellsworth Lurvey and Mabel Gertrude Nichols.

I don't believe they had any children.

In the 1972 Groveton High School yearbook the students did a dedication page to Mrs. Wiletta Lurvey, RN thanking her for her years of care and service to them.
