    Notes:

    From FindaGrave:

Lot, a 6th generation descendant of Edward Fuller of the Mayflower.

Lot Fuller, youngest child of Samuel Fuller and his 2nd wife Lydia Conant, b. of record Sept. 18, 1733 in Barnstable, Mass. His parents soon relocated from Barnstable first to Colchester, Conn. where Lot's father was baptized Feb. 16, 1746 and Lot Mar. 2, 1746 at the Colchester Cong. Church. Prior to 1700 several interrelated Fuller-Rowley families had previously relocated from Barnstable and adjoining Falmouth, Mass. to Colchester and adjoining East Haddam, Conn. After 1746 Lot's parents relocated to Bolton, Conn.

On an unrecorded date and place prior to 1760, probably at Hebron, Conn., Lot m. Rachel Webster, dau. of Thomas Webster and Lydia Lyman (who resided alternately in Hebron and adjoining Bolton), b. of record Sept. 9, 1737 in Hebron. An exhaustive search of vital and church records in Conn. and Mass. fail to provide evidence of Lot and Rachel's marriage. While various renditions of the descendants of Mayflower passenger Edward Fuller exclude knowledge of Rachel's maiden name, the 1915 pub. genealogy of the "Gov. John Webster Family" clearly knew the identity of Lot's wife Rachel.

Lot and Rachel first resided in Bolton, Conn. and were admitted members of the Bolton church Apr. 13, 1760. In 1768 Lot purchased land in Sandisfield, Mass. where they spent the remainder of their lives. They had the following 12 children, the first five born and/or baptized at Bolton, with the rest b. of record in Sandisfield, Mass.:

    • i. Lot, Jr., b. May 6 (bp. May 11), 1760; was living with a family at Floyd, NY in the June 1840 census, then 80 years old and a Rev. War pensioner.

    • ii. Rachel, bp. Sept. 6, 1761 (no b. record); died young.

    • iii. Simeon, b. Oct. 21, 1762 (no bp. record), d. Dec. 7, 1852 at Steuben, Oneida County, NY (Rev. War soldier); m. 1) Mary Cook and 2) Wealthy Woodward Horton.

    • iv. Judah, b. Feb. 3 (bp. Mar. 31), 1765, d. Oct. 24, 1819 at Sandisfield, Mass. (g.s.); m. 1) an unidentified Lois, by whom he had one child and she d. Feb. 19, 1791; m. 2) before 1794, Sarah Hastings, dau. of Joseph Hastings and Sarah Remington, b. Feb. 25, 1763 at Suffield, Mass., by whom he had five children. She d. at Sandisfield, Mass. in 1848 (g.s.) She is incorrectly called "Hannah" in the Sandisfield vital records regarding the birth of her children.

    • v. Rachel, b. Apr. 16 (bp. July 6), 1767, d. Oct. 19, 1839 at Cambridgeboro, Penn. (g.s.); m. bef. 1790 her 1st cousin John Webster, s. of Thomas Webster and Abigail Terry, b. Apr. 7, 1766 at Hebron, Conn. He. d. Apr. 11, 1835 at Cambridgeboro, Penn. (g.s.) Eight children of the family.

    • vi. Abiel (son), b. Jan. 24, 1769; d. Sept. 28, 1775 (g.s. as "Abial")

    • vii. Samuel, b. Oct. 14, 1770; no further record known.

    • viii. Joseph, b. Apr. 18, 1773, d. betw. 1860 and 1870 at Sandwich, IL; m. 1) before 1800, Lucy Hastings, dau. of Joseph Hastings and his 1st wife Lucy Remington, b. Feb. 1, 1778 at Suffield, Conn., by whom he had four children. She d. Sept. 15, 1835 at Sandisfield, Mass. (g.s.); m. 2) his deceased wife's half-sister Sarah Hastings, only child of Joseph Hastings by his 2nd wife Sarah Kent, b. June 5, 1787 at Suffield, CT. There were no children by this 2nd marriage and Sarah d. betw. 1870 and 1880 at Sandwich, IL.

    • ixi. Thomas, b. June 3, 1774; d. Nov. 14, 1777 (g.s.) [the Sandisfield TRs say he was b. June 3, 1772, but his g.s. infers he was b. June 3, 1774.]

    • x. Abiel, b. Jan. 12, 1777; m. Keziah and had one known child, who d. young at Sandisfield, Mass. (g.s.); after 1805 no further record has been found of the family.

    • xi. Lydia, b. Jan. 7, 1779; no further record known.

    • xii. Elizabeth, b. Mar. 10, 1781; m. Perly Caflin; were residing at Tyringham, Mass. in the 1810 and 1820 census, but no record found thereafter.
