Resident of Clear Lake, MN. Daughter of Eugene and Amelia (DeJarlais) Gleason. She married C. Perry Schenk on November 10, 1945 in Anoka, MN.
She worked for Anoka County as a Deputy Clerk of Court. She was an active member of Daughters of American Revolution as a V.P. General, a 50-Year member of Order of Eastern Star, a member of the executive committee of Veterans Affairs Volunteer Services, and a member of Sauk Rapids American Legion Post #254 Auxiliary. She was a recipient of the WCCO "Good Neighbor Award" and also was the first woman to serve on the Sauk Rapids School Board.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
She is survived by her husband, C. Perry Schenk of Clear Lake, MN; sons and daughter, Michael (Laura) Schenk of Madison, MS; Roberta (Anthony) Nathe of Sauk Rapids, MN; Timothy (Lois) Schenk of Apple Valley, MN; Stephen (Julie) Schenk of Hastings, MN; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren
