    Obituary:
    FUNERAL OF JOHN HALL, A QUINCY UNDERTAKER

    QUINCY, Oct. 10 -- The funeral of John Hall, aged 64, one of the best-known undertakers in the State, took place this afternoon at his home, 81 Revere road, In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Hall, the services were private and were conducted by Rev Arthur B. Whitney, pastor of the First Church, assisted by Rev Howard Kay Bartow, rector of Christ Episcopal Church. The burial was in Mt Wollaston Cemetery.

    Mr. Hall was of the third generation of the same name to be engaged in his line. The books of thee concern show that Mr. Hall's grandfather, also John Hall, had as his first funeral that of President John Quincy Adams.

    Mr. Hall died Wednesday of heart trouble, from which he had suffered more or less several years. He leaves his wife.
