    Immigrated from London on the ship, JONATHAN, arriving in Boston Harbor on June 23, 1639. She married (1) John Oliver, and (2) William Gerrish on April 16, 1645 in Newbury.

    From Paula Towne McRonald: PERCIVAL LOWELL (LOWLE), Gent., merchant, of Kington Seymour and Portbury, Somerset(England), son and heir by his father's 2nd marriage. On 14 April 1573 he and MARGARET Lowle were admitted tenants of eight acres of land in Portbury, Somerset (England) in 1613, and as bailiff of the manor of Portbury, Somerset (England), 1621. He married about 1599 REBECCA______.

    He served as a churchwarden in Portsbury, Somerset (England) in 1613. They immigrated to New England in 1639, where they settled at Newbury, Massachusetts. His wife, REBBECA, died at Newbury, Massachusetts 28 Feb 1645. [Mr.]PERCIVAL LOWELL died at Newbury, Massachusetts 8 Jan. 1645.

    He was the eldest son of Stephen and Elizabeth (Gerrish) Greenleaf. He graduated from Harvard College in 1699. Daniel married Elizabeth Gooking November 18, 1701. He was ordained pastor of the Congregational church in Yarmouth, Massachusetts in 1708. In 1727 he resigned and moved to Boston where he opened an apothecary's shop.

    And on Saturday night died here, in the 85th Year of his Age, after a long and painful indisposition, the Rev. Mr. DANIEL GREENLEAF, formerly a Minister at Yarmouth, in the County of Barnstable. (Providence Gazette (Providence, Rhode Island) September 3, 1763, p. 4)
