    Notes:

    The parentage of Mabel Winchell is not documented. It is said that she was of Suffield, CT and married Nathaniel Hall. NEHGS Register (Vol. 63, p. 336) reports that they had a daughter Mabel, b. 14 September 1728, d. 12 October 1767, m. John Rising, 24 March 1748. Some evidence suggests that she was a Sarah (Moore) Winchell. If so, based on her like birth about 1695, that would make her a daughter of Thomas Winchell; however, in this scenario, she would likely to have been raised in Suffield by her step-father Benjamin Winchell.
