Massachusetts Death Records shows that he died Sept. 12, 1876 and that he was 44 yrs, 1 month and 5 days which differs by 1 year from the information on his stone. Don't know which is correct.

He second married Almira L Hunt 18 Oct. 1862 in Bradford, VT. In 1865 Mass. Census they were living in Ashburnham, Worcester, Mass and Chapin Hunt age 71 was living with them. Probably Almira Hunt's father. Shows He and Almira were born in Bath, NH.
