    Elizabeth, dau. of Rev. Rhodolphus Thacher and Ruth Partridge, b. of record Mar. 1, 1671/2 at Duxbury, Mass. Elizabeth first married Oct. 3, 1700, most likely at Chilmark, Mass., Sgt. Samuel Fuller, son of Lieut. Samuel Fuller and his wife Mary of Barnstable, Mass.

    At the time of her marriage, Elizabeth was presumably residing at Chilmark where her father was then pastor of the Chilmark Congregational Church. Samuel Fuller was b. Aug. 15, 1676 at Barnstable, Mass. almost five full months after the death of his father, Lieut. Samuel Fuller, in the King Philips War. Sgt. Samuel Fuller d. Sept. 29, 1716 at Mansfield, Conn. Seven children of the family.

    The widow Elizabeth (Thacher) Fuller m. 2) July 8, 1724 at Lebanon, Conn. as his second wife, Miles Standish, s. of Lieut. Josiah Standish, Sr. and Sarah Allen. Miles, as his name is spelled in the records, was the namesake grandson of Capt. Myles Standish of the Plymouth Colony, a Mayflower passenger. Elizabeth purportedly d. at Mansfield, Conn. circa 1740, but where she is interred is currently unknown. There are no known children of this second marriage and Miles Standish had no known children by his first wife.

    Rhodolphus (Latin for Ralph) Fuller, sometimes written as Rodolphus Fuller, was b. Aug. 22, 1703 at Mansfield, Conn., s. of Sgt. Samuel Fuller and Elizabeth Thacher. He was named for his maternal grandfather, Rev. Rhodolphus Thacher.

    On Nov. 1, 1727 at Mansfield, Conn., Rhodolphus m. 1) Ann Hall, dau. of William Hall, Jr. and Esther Storrs of Mansfield, b. June 1, 1709 at Mansfield and d. there Apr. 24, 1750, Æ. 41. By this marriage were born at Mansfield:

    • i. Elizabeth Fuller, b. Nov. 7, 1728 (bapt. Nov. 10); m. Barnabas Allen at Windham, Conn. on Apr. 21, 1752; six children of record at Canterbury, Conn. where Barnabas and Elizabeth both d. in 1815.

    • ii. Samuel Fuller, b. July 18, 1731; d. an infant on Aug. 18, 1731.

    • iii. Lydia Fuller, b. Nov. 19, 1733 (bapt. Jan. 6, 1733/4).

    • iv. Silas Fuller, b. Sept. 20, 1735 (bapt. Sept. 28), d. died in youth on Apr. 2, 1752.

    • v. Bela Fuller (f), b. Mar. 13, 1736/7 (bapt. Jun. 9).

Oct. 28, 1716 at Preston, Conn., the youngest child of Peter Robinson, Sr. and Experience Lumbert. Anna was the youngest sister of Rhodolphus' sister Ruth, the wife of Anna Robinson's older brother Peter Robinson, Jr. Two children were b. by this marriage at Mansfield, Conn.:

    • vii. Samuel, b. Feb. 3, 1758; no further certain record.

    • viii. Anne, b. Nov. 1, 1759; d. 21 days later on Nov. 22, 1759.

    Rhodolphus purportedely died on June 9, 1795, but whether at Mansfield or at Canterbury where his second wife is interred is presently unknown.
