Nicholas came from England with either the Whitfield Colony or with the family of his stepfather--Henry Goldham who had married Nicholas' widowed mother, Francis. His death date was obtained from "The History of Guilford Connecticut, from its First Settlement in 1639." His mother was Frances Walter Munger, and step-father was Henry Goldham, and his step-sister was Sarah Goldham (Bishop) [whose mother, who died in England, is unknown].
