There is controversy among researchers over the maiden name of Sarah and the names of her parents. Some sources say that her parents were Andrew Hull and Katherine Beach.

Sarah first married Nicholas Munger, June 2, 1659, Guilford, CT. They had two known children: John and Samuel.

Following Nicholas' death. Sarah married the widower Dennis Crampton, about 1668, Guilford, CT. They had three known children: Sarah, Thomas, and John.
