    Notes:

    He was the Captain, King Phillips' War, 1704, one of the great Indian wars. Also served in the French and Indian War. In 1704, he was Captain of the "Train Band". He was Deputy of the General Court during the years of 1698, 1700, 1701, 1703, 1705. In 1718 as selectman, he voted against the petition of West Farms, Cheshire, asking the legislature for liberty to be a village.

    He owned a large share of land in Meriden, CT and bought the propriety of Thomas Judd at Waterbury, CT. which property was afterward known as Thomas Judd Hall's land. A deacon of Wallingford church. He was by occupation a turner or "disturner" like his brother John. He had eight children.

    He was one of the witnesses to his father's will, John, Deacon. John the Elder, was his grandfather. He was the ancestor of Honorable Lyman Hall of Georgia and Honorable S.H.P. Hall of Binghampton, NY
