    BANGOR -- Graveside services for Floyd B. Hall, 72, a 69-year resident of Bangor, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday in the Bangor Cemetery.

    He died on Wednesday, July 22, 1992, at a local hospital.

    He was born on May 14, 1920, in Adair, Okla.

    Hall was an expert tallyman for High Sierra Pine Mills in Oroville for 26 years.

    He was a member of the Bangor Community Church and enjoyed repairing cars and building things.

    Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Velma of Bangor; two sons, Edward and Dallas; three daughters, Dolores Roper, Tanya Radtkey and Cody France; two sisters, Ressie Lloyd and Donna Graf; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

    Arrangements are under the direction of Scheer Memorial Chapel in Oroville.

    Ressie Virginia Lloyd, 87, of Albany died April 28 at her home.

    Daughter of Charles B. and Marshia M. (Hipes) Hall, Ressie was born, raised and graduated from high school in Orville, Calif. She met her husband Lloyd "Red" at a military dance. After giving birth to twin daughters the family moved to Medford. Later, they moved to Corvallis where their son was born and they continued to raise their family.

    Ressie worked in local schools as a teacher's assistant and retired after 30 years.

    She enjoyed shopping and lunch with her friends, gardening, reading novels, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

    Ressie is survived by her daughters, Marshia Kibble and husband Marty, and Ann Lloyd; son Morris and wife Eugenia; sister Donna Giraf; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris C. "Red" Lloyd, and grandson Scott Springer.

    A graveside committal service will be at 1 p.m. today at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Albany.

    Twin Oaks Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

    Donna JuAnn Graf passed away at her home in Gridley on January 24, 2014. She was the daughter of Charles and Marshia (Hipes) Hall.

    She was born and raised in Oroville, California after her birth on July 12, 1936. Donna graduated from Oroville High School and then attended Chico State University where she received her teaching certificate. She taught at Sycamore Middle School in Gridley for 37 years.

    Donna married Jerry Graf in Reno, Nevada. Together they raised a daughter and shared in many adventures such as sky diving, learning to fly a plane and showing Corvair cars. Donna loved to travel and went many places with friends and family. Donna will always be remembered for her love of music.

    She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry; daughter Virginia Graf; parents Charles and Marshia Hall. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Gridley Christian Church in Gridley, California.

    Obituary:
    Meadow Valley resident Charles Bruce Hall passed from this life peacefully, Friday morning, February 19th, 2010 at his residence with his wife at his side.

    Born in Oroville, California to the late Charles and Marsha (Hipes) Hall on November 11th, 1938, he was raised and educated in Oroville graduating from Oroville High School. He went on to attend Butte College where he was just a couple of units shy of obtaining his AA degree.

    Charlie resided in Oroville until moving to Greenville, CA fifteen years ago. After residing in Greenville for five years he and his wife relocated to Meadow Valley where they have resided for the past ten years.

    On September 26th, 1964 in Reno, Nevada Charlie married his childhood friend, the former Carol Mix whom he had become reacquainted with while attending church.

    Charlie had a forty year career in the Lumber Industry retiring as a certified lumber grader. He enjoyed carving Native American pipes as well as all types of animals. Charlie was an avid believer in the power of prayer and obtained great solace in praying for those in need. Adopted into the Maidu Nation, Charlie took great pride in the Native American heritage shown him by his forefathers.

    In passing Charlie leaves his wife and loving caregiver of over forty five years; Carol of Meadow Valley, sons; Leslie Warren Hall and his wife Mara of San Leandro, CA, Ethan Wayne Hall and his wife Regina and Jonathan Rose all of Greenville, CA, a daughter; Belinda Jean Stevens and her husband Bob of Oroville, CA, sisters; Ressie Lloyd of Albany, Oregon and Donna Graf of Gridley, CA, his grandchildren Robin, Travis, Shateka, Ethan and Katie Lee along with his great granddaughter; Macayla Faith.

    Along with his parents he joins his brother Floyd in their eternal home.

    A celebration of Charlie's life will be announced at a later date. Interment will take place in the Nevada City Rancheria Cemetery.
