Morris C. "Red" Lloyd, 87, died Sunday at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.

Born March 31, 1921 in Oroville California, he was the son of Edward and Annabelle Lodge Lloyd.

Red served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was employed as a forest inspector for the forestry department until his retirement.

Red was preceded in death by his grandson, Scott Springer; sister Lois Wheeler; and brother Russell Lloyd.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ressie Lloyd; daughter Anne Lloyd; daughter and son-in-law Marshia and Marty Kibble; son and daughter-in-law Morrie and Eugenia Lloyd; grandchildren Brett Kibble, Sarah Harrington, Amy Kibble, Mandy Wydronek, Morgen Springer, Keila Goodman, Cassie Lloyd and Jesse Lloyd; sister Natalie Grimm; and five great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at Calvary Baptist Church in Albany. Online condolences may be sent to the family via www.mchenryfuneralhome.com.
