Frederick J. Lanz. His parents were Frederick and Louise Lanz (no dates but they were probably born in or near Berlin, Germany.) He was born 7-12-1891 and died 12-22-1970. His birthplace unknown.

His sisters were Mimmie (1872-1950), Grace (dates unknown) and Bertha (1881-1933.)
His first wife was Estella M., they had a son Phillip R. Lanz of Cadillac, MI.
*In obituary it says he was survived by wife Jessie , 3 sons, Phillip, Clarence R. Hatch of Wyoming, Raymond West of Flint, 2 daughters Mrs. Edward (Virginia) Nelson of Reese, MI and Mrs Clifford (Barbara) Chapin of Petoskey, MI. 9 grandchildren ad 17 great-grandchildren
