    Notes:

    From FindaGrave:

Unsure of the death year...the Historical Society has 1812 but he was apparently born in 1767 so the death date of 1843 would be correct if he was 76 years old at time of death. A clear gravestone photo would clear up this confusion!!

An Aaron Grosvenor was born to Asa and Hannah Grosvenor of Pomfret, CT, on 27 Sep 1767. I do not know that this is the Dr. Aaron Grosvenor buried here, but there are a couple of family trees (citing secondary courses) claiming that he is the man who married Sarah French. The marriage of Sally French and a Dr. Aaron Grosvenor is recorded in Dracut 16 Jan 1791. If he died at age 76, as stated on the gravestone, and was born in 1767, he'd have died in 1843. I can document 10 children thus far, born like clockwork about two years apart, all with a mother named Sally and Aaron Grosvenor as father. I note that daughter Paulina Grosvenor Marsh's death record in Methuen gives her parents as Aaron P. Grosvenor and Sarah French, and that son Benjamin Grosvenor had the middle name French, so the surname French does seem to fit.
