- FRAMINGHAM - Holman (Dan) H. Campbell, 96, formerly of Masardis, ME. died unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 27th, 2011 at Metro West Medical Center. He worked for the B & A R.R., NY Central R.R. and Penn Central Railway before retiring. He was a past officer of Meridian Masonic Lodge.
Dan was also a member of Parker Chapter and the Shriners. Holman is survived by his wife Florence (Muiholland) Campbell his daughters:
Sharon (Robert) Patnaude, Berwick, ME, Barbara (Edwin) Sloper, Fram., Dianne (Steve) Hannan, Natick, Doreen(Dave) Kelly, Natick, Mary (Jay) Verner, Medway, Margaret (Ken) Keams, Natick, daughter-in law Beatrice (Leroux) Campbell and his sons: Joseph (Kyoung) Korea, Stephen, NH, Jeffrey, Natick, David (Carol), Sturbridge and Mark (Chris) VA. and step-children: Thomas, Janice and Carolyn. Holman is also survived by his former wife, Katherine Campbell, Natick, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Holman's son Daniel predeceased him in May 2008 and his son James predeceased him in Nov. 2007.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. Donations in Holman's memory may be made to the James H. Campbell Masonic Angel Fund, 24 Main St., Natick.
