      30 Jul 1809, Nehemiah Hall, Jr. and wife Hannah were admitted as members to the Church of Christ in Uxbridge, MA. Att. S. Judson, Pr.

      When the First Church of Christ in Uxbridge split into the First Evangelical Congregational Church and the Unitarian Church, Nehemiah Hall, Jr. purchased pews numbers 17, 47, and 87 in the Evangelical Congregational Meetinghouse. The plan for the new meetinghouse was dated 1833. The meetinghouse was dedicated on November 13, 1833.

      Betsey Williams Aldrich wrote the following in her 1842 diary:

      "Dec 29 Mr. Nehemiah Hall fell from a scaffold this morn which caused his death. He was taken from time into eternity in an unexpected moment. A happy change, if he was indeed a child of God, to put off the mortal and put on immortality."
