SARAH PARMELEE was born on August 28, 1719, in Durham, Connecticut, child of Joel Parmelee and Abigail Andrews.
ASAHEL HALL and SARAH PARMELEE married in Wallingford, Connecticut, on September 10, 1738, he was 21 and she was 19 years old. They had 11 children in abt 21 years. In a span of about ten years, between 1745 and 1756, five of their children died at age 4 years or younger, two having died on the same day. This left them with only 3 of eight children living in 1757 when Asahel went off to fight in the "French and Indian" War.
Between 1757 and 1760 Asahel and Sarah had 3 more children, all sons, and all lived, married and had families,. SARAH PARMELEE died on February 25, 1789, in Wallingford, Connecticut, when she was 69 years old. They had been married for 50 years
