- Dorothy was born in Porterville, California and passed into the arms of her loving Savior in Clovis, California.
Dorothy was very active in her 84 years of life, working side by side with her partner and love of her life, Ted Grider, who for many years served as Minister of Music for many valley churches.
Ted and Dorothy met as very young children in Porterville, California and married in June of 1940. They had 43 years of marriage and of ministering their music before Ted passed away in 1983.
Dorothy was extremely active with many organizations throughout her life, and received many honorable plaques of appreciation.
