    • George W. Hall was a Civil War soldier in the Union Army. His name can be found on the Civil War Monument in the center of East Douglas. George W. Hall mustered in with Company D of the Massachusetts 25th Infantry on 18 Aug 1862. Transferred
      5 Oct 1864 to Co. "A". He mustered out on 14 Jul 1865.

      George W. Hall had light hazel eyes, light brown hair, dark complexion and was 5 feet, 7 inches tall.

      Pension File shows that George W. Hall filed as invalid on 1 Jul 1895, Application No. 1168421, Certificate No. 1054924 in Massachusetts. His widow, Emily, filed on 18 Mar 1908, Application No. 887419, Certificate No. 649419. The pension was
