"Died at Sea. "Early Vital Records of Mass. (Ipswich Deaths)" - died intestate probate file #: 21991, File Date: 05 Sep 1815 Residence: Ipswich, Occupation: mariner Essex MA probate records (copy in my files).
"Son of Moses Pinder and Mary (probably Kimball). Baptized in Ipswich, MA 16 Sept 1787.
"Seaman's protection certificate dated 1806 reads: Native of Ipswich, aged 18, height 5'11", light hair, light complexion, blue eyes and a large scar on his bosom
"He married Elizabeth Jones on 8 Dec 1810 and had two children Elizabeth Pinder b. 1810 and Nabby Jones Pinder b. 1812.
"Elizabeth (Jones) Pinder moved to Malden after her husband was lost at sea. She never remarried, died in Malden and is buried in Beverly, MA.
"Elizabeth Pinder (my 3rd g-grandmother) married Horatio Hall, had 9 children, 7 who lived to adulthood and resided and is buried in Malden, MA."
