      Diadama Leach
      was born in Raynham, Mass., 1751; and died 30 Apr. 1842, in West moreland, N. H. She is said to have been a woman of Lovely character and gentle manners. She was blind many years before her death.

      She married in 1769 Seth Hall, son of Jonathan5, and Lydia (Leonard), of Raynham (Jonathan4, Samuel3, Samuel2, George1 Hall, of Taunton, Mass.) Seth6 Hall removed to Westmoreland, N. H. in 1773. He was a very religious man and a strict observer of the Sabbath; a deacon of the church. Many amusing anecdotes are still told of him. He wore a wig and was familiarly known as "Old Wig Hall".  He was born 4 Oct. 1740, at Raynham; and died 12 Feb. 1824; in Westmoreland, N. H.

    • Seth Hall was a soldier in the Revolutionary War.  He was a Corporal in Captain Philip King's Company, Colonel George Williams' Regiment (Third Bristol County), 23 days in December 1776 on a Rhode Island alarm.  Also was a Sergeant in Captain Noah Hall's Company, Colonel Abiel Mitchell's Regiment, in command of Lieutenant-Colonel James Williams on the alarm at Tiverton, 1 Aug 1780.
