- Clara Louise Hall, Dr. John Hassett Wed at St. Peter's
GREAT BARRINGTON -- Before an altar banked with Easter Lilies, Miss Clara Louise Hall, daughter of Mrs. Edward O. Hall, 17 Grove Street and Dr. John Edward Hassett, son of Mrs. Francis T. Hassett, 142 Castle Street, were married in St. Peter's Church at 9 this morning.
The pastor, Rev. Bernard A Kerrigan, assisted by Rev. Robert Campbell and Rev. Henry Gately, Pressor Fernand Bariette was organist and Miss Antionette Modolo was soloist.
Escorted to the altar by her brother, Malcolm L. Hall, the bride was attended by Mrs. Thomas Gilligan, Jr., sister of the bridegroom, as matron of honor. Miss Anne Hassett, another sister of the bridegroom, and Mrs. John Tuller were bridesmaids. Malcolm Loomis Hall Jr., nephew of the bride, was ring-bearer and a niece of the bride, Miss Nanette Hall, was flower girl.
Dr. Thomas J. Gilligan Jr. was his brother-in-law's best man. A. John Tuller and William Murtagh were ushers.

After a reception, held at Barrington Hall, Dr. and Mrs. Hassett left for South Carolina. For travelling the bride wore a navy blue suit with matching accessories. They will be at home, 142 Castle Street, after May 1.
Mrs. Hassett, a register nurse, is a graduate of Searles High, Simmons College and Boston University. Dr. Hassett, who practices dentistry here, is a graduate of the Berkshire School, Holy Cross College and Tufts Dental School. He served in the Naval Dental Corps in Japan in World War II.
