Thomas Chase of England of whom is is recorded in Lysson's Magna Brittanica. "The unfortunate Thomas Chaae was barbarously murdered 1506 in a small room in which one could neither sit nor stand without great inconvenience. This room was adjoining the chapel connected with the palace of the Bishop of Longlance of Woburn, who was Confessor to Henry VIII.
