      Engaged in Civil Engineering on Water Works, Pavement, Sewerage, etc. Investigator of Steel, Reinforced Concrete, Brick and Hydraulic and Sanitary Works; Expert in Municipal and Sanitary Engineering.

      Prof. of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, since 1890 at Univ. of Ill. Member of Am. Waterworks Ass'n, Am. Soc. Civil Engrs., Western Soc. of Engrs., Am. Soc. Testing Materials, A.A.A.S., and Am Soc. of Municiipal Improvements.
