  It appears that James and his wife Hulda had 11 children. Five were born in Croydon, NH, five in Richmond, and one in Peru, NY. James Hall served in the New Hampshire Rangers and in 1831 was placed on the pension roll of Sullivan Co., NH. Abstracts of Revolutionary War Pension Files: James, Huldah, W16025, NH Line, soldier was born in 1757 at Uxbridge, MA and he lived at Croydon in Sullivan Co, NH at enlistment and he applied there 17 Oct 1832 and he married there to Hulday (--) on 30 Nov 1775 and he died there 28 Jul 1835 and his widow also applied there 25 Jan 1837 aged 78, widow's sister Matilda Whipple was aged 75 in 1837 a resident of Croydon, NH.
