  Arthur Burce Barrows, son of Monroe S and Irene M. (Fox) Barrows, was employed as a brakeman on the Naugatuck Railroad. At the age of 18, while coupling cars together for the railroad, he was very badly injured and lived only a few days . He died at the age of 18 years, 8 months.
