  From FindaGrave: Rose Lewis died at Claremont General Hospital in Claremont, NH on July 27, 1976 after a brief illness. She was born on May 2, 1900 in North Adams, MA; the daughter of Dennis and Emma (Jauvier) Fisher. She was a longtime resident of Claremont. She had owned and operated the Rose Lewis Beauty Shop for forty six years as well as serving as a beautician for local funeral homes. She was a member of the Twin State Valley Cosmetologists Association and the Woodbury Rebekah Lodge No 61. She married Herbert Lewis on July 19, 1923 in Charlestown, NH who preceded her in death. Survivors include daughter Edith Preston of Plantation, FL; son Edward C "Ted" Lewis of West Lebanon, NH; sister Mrs Robert Wirrell of Claremont; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
