  • Notes
    • The book the HALLS OF NEW ENGLAND by Rev. David B. Hall, 1883 lists the parents of Mary Elizabeth Kilbourn as Dr. Amos and Mary (Bourne) Farnsworth, of Boston.  This information should be verified at some point as to the diffences in the last
      names.

Rev. Hall made the following statement of Mary Elizabeth (Kilbourn) Hall and Samuel Hall in his book:  "She has taken great pains to procure many items of miscellaneous information from the libraries for my use, and has also furnished the
record of nearly all the posterity of Andrew Hall of Newton, son of Edward Hall of Rehoboth.  Mr. Hall, whose business is in Boston, has also been very kind in searching the libraries and securing books for his wife to examine and make
extracts.  It has cost them much time and labor, for which all interested  should be duly thankful and the compiler duly appreciates."

Samuel and Mary Elizabeth Hall's residence was in Brookline, MA.
