Parents of: Seleucia Elmore (1799-1866) Washington Hall Elmore (1801-1831) Franklin Elmore (1804-1876) Lewis Elmore (1808-1884) Maria Hall Elmore (1809-1853) Jennett Elmore (1814-1908) 67. ASA,5 ELMORE, (Daniel,4 (Elmer) Hezekiah,3 Edward,2 Edward,1) born Nov. 21, 1772; married at Claremont, N. H., Feb. 10, 1796, Maria Hall, born Jan. 14, 1775, and died at Peru, June 27, 1821. He died at the same place Feb. 27, 1822. Asa is said to have changed the spelling of the name from Elmer to Elmore, but this is doubtful, as his father's name was spelled in both ways.
