EDWARD BECKER DIED THURSDAY
Edward Becker, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. Becker, was born in Chicago on Dec. 22, 1882. When still a child, the family moved to a farm in Tarr Valley where he grew to manhood.
He was married to Miss Celeste Hall on March 30, 1910. Two daughters were born to this union, Mrs. Edith Lenz of Tomah, and Mrs. Wilda Tonnesen of York Village, Maine.
They moved from the farm in 1917 to Tomah where they have since resided. For many years he had been employed at the railroad shops in the city.
His parents, four brothers and one sister all preceded him in death. He departed this life Oct. 6, 1949, at the age of 66 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Celeste Becker, two daughters, Mrs. Robert Tonnesen and Mrs. Carl Lenz; five grandchildren, Bruce, Lois and Martin Tonnesen, and Jimmy and Carleen Lenz, and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Becker were held on Sunday afternoon.
