  From FindaGrave: Wisconsin State Journal (Madison), Wednesday, 9 Oct. 1901: "Mrs. Julia E. Wakeley, widow of the late Justice Charles Wakeley, died at 7 o'clock this morning at the residence of Mrs. M. F. Hanchett at 322 West Washington avenue....Death was due to cancer in the chest....Mrs. Wakeley was about 70 years of age and has lived in Madison for 30 years....The burial will be held at Whitewater, in the Wakeley family lot on Friday, under Episcopalian auspices...."
