- From FindaGrave:
First child of 6 born to Rev. Wyllys Hall (1838-1908) and Eleanor Benedict Kellogg (1842-1896)
She graduated Helmuth Ladies College in 1885 and traveled to Europe to continue study music at Cologne, Germany and continued to perform in Europe.
She married Dr. Richard Irvine Howitt (1865-1910) in Pasadena, California, 26 Oct 1896. Dr. Howitt "worked for the railroad" (per my grandmother) as physician, a position which required travel. Husband, wife, and 2 young children moved to Minas Prietas, Sonora, Mexico, leaving only when the war broke out.
She is buried with her husband at Mountain View Cemetery in Altadena, California, USA, near her parents and some siblings.
