  • Notes
    • From FindaGrave:

Merle Jeanette Grey Hall is the beloved mother of Herbert L 'Jim' Hall, Jr of Randolph, Massachusetts and Richard H. Hall of Las Vegas, Nevada. She lived most of her life in Sandwich except for a few years in Manhattan, New York City, where both of her sons were born on March 29th, 1942 and March 17, 1944.

She fell asleep in the Lord and passed into the portals of glory to her Lord Jesus Christ on August 16, 1975 at the youthful age of only 65 after a year of agonizing undergoing chemo-therapy for cancer.

At 4' 11, (she always claimed she was 5') she was our little loving mother who taught us how to pray to Jesus and to become the men we are today.

She was born in Harwich, Mass, on May 7th, 1910. She's buried in the Sagamore Cemetery in the plot purchased by our grandparents, Richard Everett (1877-1964) and Mira Sears Grey (1881-1952), who died of cancer on July 8, 1952.

Our Mother is greatly missed and survived by her 2 sons, Herbert Jr of Randolph, Mass., & Pastor Rick Hall of Las Vegas, both of whom absolutely adored her. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren - Herbert L. Hall III of Maine and Gerri Hall of Bourne, Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Terri, Susan, Richard and Cathy Ann Hall of South Weymouth, Massachusetts and Philip Charles & Heidi Jeannette Hall of Riverside, California and Andrew James, Nicholas Joseph of Las Vegas, Nevada and Natalie Grace Hall-Aouda of Southlake, Texas - she also is survived by 15 great grandchildren.

Visitors please feel free to add some flowers and a note to our mother's site; we would be honored to add some to your loved one's sites too.
