- From FindaGrave:
Born Alice Minerva Hagar, daughter of James A. & Martha L.(Aldrich) Hagar. (Ref: familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/K4KL-JS3 Minerva Alice Hall and Sutton birth register for 1862, image of latter accessible on americanancestors.org)
Adopted daughter of Otis & Eliza Jane (Burnap) Hall. She is identified as Minny A. Adopted in 1867. (Ref: Oliver B. Wood. Index to the Probate Records of the County of Worcester, Massachusetts. Boston, MA, USA: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1898.)
She and Edgar Erastus Slocomb married on October 27, 1880. The entry in the Sutton marriage register states that the marriage was performed by the pastor of the First Congregational Church - and presumably at the church - in the Saunderville district of Grafton.
She is identified as Minnie A. (Hagar) Slocomb in Massachusetts Vital Records Index of Deaths, Vol. 111, 1946-1950, Shapiro-Zyzniewski (image accessible on Ancestry.com). The death record is accessible at office of the Sutton Town Clerk and at Mass. State Archives, Vol. 87, Pg. 512.
Thanks to FindaGrave member Mary Galo (49364749) for researching and providing most of the information above.
Her burial in Dodge Cemetery is documented in the Sutton Cemetery Commission burial register for 1945/1946. Although the specific lot is not recorded, it is most likely that she is buried in the Slocomb lot in Row 8 of the north section (as viewed from Leland Hill Road) with her mother, her husband, her adult granddaughter and, probably, her daughter.
The attached photos are of the Slocomb family lot at the north end of Row 8. There is a definite depression in the soil in the area to the right of Edgar Slocomb's gravestone.
