  • Notes
    • From FindaGrave:

The initials "L F 1740" is most likely that of Lydia Fuller, daughter of Shubael Fuller and Hannah [Crocker]. She was baptized on 6 July 1712 with her brother Ephraim Fuller [born 1711].

She was admitted full communion in the East Haddam 1st Church of Christ on 18 August 1728, thus showing that she was an adult [aged 19 years]. The town records do not reveal a marriage record for her, so she may be the one who died in 1740.

Her father Shubael Fuller died on 29 May 1748 and her mother Hannah [Crocker] Fuller died on 31 March 1751 and were most likely interred in this yard. Both have no grave-stones, however.

      Inscription

Fragment showing this inscription "L F 1740" found next to headstone of Joseph Gates who died in 1741.

      Gravesite Details

This fragment cannot be found anywhere in this yard. It was not recorded in 1934 but is on the 1958 surveyor's map of this yard as plot #303.
