Ellen Marie (Austin) Hall, 44, of Manchester, died Friday, March 19, 2004, at her home after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
Mrs. Hall was born Aug. 4, 1959, in Woonsocket, R.I., daughter of Claudette (Turgeon) Guindon of Florida and the late Myles Alexander. She was raised in Smithfield, R.I. She had lived in Manchester since 1990, previously living in Litchfield.
She was married to Kenneth I. Hall of Manchester for almost 23 years.
Mrs. Hall worked for several years at Southern New Hampshire Internal Medicine in Derry and at the time of her death, worked as the office manager of Ahern & Nichols Family Dentistry in Derry.
She was very supportive of, and inspirational to, her family. A troop committee member of Boy Scout Troop 290 at St. Pius X Church, she was a former director of Manchester East Soccer League and a former treasurer of the Weston School PTA.
Mrs. Hall loved skiing and hiking and especially enjoyed attending and supporting her children's sporting events.
She graduated from Smithfield High School in 1977. She was also graduated from Bryant College in 1979.
Besides her mother and husband, survivors include a son, Alex A. Hall of Manchester; a daughter, Jessica L. Hall of Manchester; her stepfather, Ernie Guindon of Florida; a brother, Kevin Austin, of Providence, R.I.; and several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Goodwin Funeral Home in Manchester is handling the arrangements.
